KuCoin is an international exchange with a wide range of cryptocurrencies. To connect BitBrokerTrade to KuCoin, you need a verified KuCoin account and an API key with spot trading permissions. Follow the three parts below.
When creating an API key, KuCoin also requires an API password that you choose yourself. You will need this password later when adding the exchange in BitBrokerTrade, so save it carefully alongside your API keys. This is different from other exchanges.

Part 1: Create a KuCoin account

Do you already have a verified KuCoin account? Skip this part and go straight to Part 2. What you need: a working email address, a passport or ID card, a mobile phone, a phone number, and the Google Authenticator app.
1

Register an account

Go to www.kucoin.com and create an account.
2

Complete KYC

Go through the KYC (Know Your Client) process to verify your identity. You need your passport or ID card, your phone number, and the Google Authenticator app.

Deposit a euro balance

Deposit euros into your spot wallet at KuCoin. BitBrokerTrade trades from your available euro balance.

In the pop-up you will see your API key, API secret, and the API password you chose. Copy all three to a notepad, you will need all three in BitBrokerTrade.
